• Tool for Membrane Fixation: Push in tacks for securing membranes during GBR.

• Pilot Drill: Used to create initial osteotomy sites, allowing for precise placement of screws or tacks.

• Space for up to 42 Fixation Screws (4-13mm): These screws come in three designs – small head with active or passive apex designs for stable fixation of bone and biomaterial alike, plus wider ‘umbrella’ head screws for tenting procedures. All screws feature traditional Phillips fixation machined to high tolerance to match the fixation tools perfectly.  

• Space for up to 30 Push-In Fixation Tacks: These could either be titanium or fully resorbable, providing options for different clinical needs. Resorbable tacks are especially useful in minimising the need for post-operative removals.

Powerbone Resorbing Fixation Tacks are used to secure biodegradable Dental Membranes to the bone bed.  The use of Powerbone Resorbing Fixation Tacks with a biodegradable membrane allows a true one-step GTR or GBR procedure.

INDICATIONS

Use with a slow-resorbing or fully resorbing bone graft for periodontal defects (e.g. class II furcation defects, intra-bony and recession-type defects) and for peri-implant surgery, GBR bony defects, and to cover an empty socket in conjunction with a particulate bone graft or biphasic socket sponge graft.
