Tent Screw is a unique Self-drilling, Two-piece System which features a:

• Polished neck with broad 2mm head to support different membrane types.

• Anchor screw for central support and clot chamber.

• Cover Screw which fixes the membrane or barrier in place.

• Works with all kinds of membranes – 3d, regular titanium, PTFE, Collagen or synthetic.

Regen Store recommends – Non-resorbable Titanium foils and meshes such as those listed HERE.

Regen Store recommends – Resorbable space-maintaining synthetic membranes such as those listed HERE.

PROCEDURE

The tent screw system consists of two individual screws. The longer anchor screw supports the membrane in position and the shorter cover screw allows fixation of the barrier over the anchor creating support for the barrier and avoiding lateral displacements.  Tent screws are temporary. Removal is determined according to the technique chosen by the professional.

The use of tenting screws does not replace the fixation of the membrane edges which should be done using pins tacks or screws.
