Thermo-moldable synthetic polymer membranes can be shaped when warm, increasing the defect conformity. Unlike collagen, Powerbone Dental Membrane offers:

COMPARISON WITH COLLAGEN – Single Layer format

Clinicians familiar with resorbing collagen membranes will readily appreciate the single-layer synthetic polymer membrane.  The single-layer version drapes more easily. Fixation with pins or membrane tacks is advisable, yet not mandatory. 

COMPARISON WITH PTFE – Double Layer format

Clinicians familiar with PTFE will appreciate the double-layer synthetic polymer membrane.  The double layer holds the space very well. It is more rigid than the single layer, and as such fixation is mandatory.  Unlike PTFE Powerbone Synthetic Polymer membrane resorbs completely and does not require a second procedure for removal.
