WHY DEGRANULATE?

Retained granulation tissue can replicate quickly and occupy space ahead of new bone resulting in poor-quality hard tissue regeneration.  Removal of granulation tissue is important for all graft types and critical when grafting with autogenous bone or fully resorbing materials.

Each rough-cut diamond bur is designed to ‘pull’ off granulation tissue from the bony surface without harm, ensuring an implant or graft can be placed in direct contact with healthy bleeding bone.  The Regen Store Degranulation kit contains:

1 x 1.0mm Rough Diamond Coated Bur.

1 x 2.5mm Rough Diamond Coated Bur.

1 x 3.0mm Rough Diamond Coated Bur.
