5° Conical Connection: Minimises load and allows a wide range of restorative options. The connection is shared with Megagen Anyridge, meaning all restorative parts are interchangeable between the two systems.

ACTIVE PLASMA SLA SURFACE

Plasma treatment at the factory removes contaminants from the SLA blasting and introduces hydroxyl groups, which significantly lower the surface wetting angle. 

SLA is a treatment using coarse grit followed by acid-etching to create a micro-roughened surface. This is done before plasma treatment.  

Clinical benefits of Plasma Treatment:

• Faster Healing: Hydrophilic surfaces attract blood, biological fluids and proteins, leading to shorter healing times compared to standard SLA surfaces.  

• Enhanced Osseointegration: Stronger cell attachment, proliferation, and differentiation of bone-forming cells enhance the connection between bone and implant.

After treatment, the Powerbone Dental Implant is delivered in a solution to preserve activation. Once removed from the solution, the chemical activity is maintained for 15 minutes.
