Fully resorbable synthetic polymer dental membranes.

All polymer membranes are thermo-mouldable for enhanced site adaptation.  Available in three types:

• Single Layer (Powerbone Ecobone Brand) – Good space creation, consistent resorption, may require fixation in irregular defects.  

• Premium Single Layer (Powerbone Osteon Brand) – More similar to pericardial collagen in its feel. Excellent space creation and resorption. May require fixation in irregular defects. 

• Double Layer (Powerbone Brand) – Similar handling to PTFE. Excellent space creation and resorption. Fixation advised.  

Why thermo-mouldable? 

Thermo-moldable polymer membranes can be shaped when warm, increasing defect conformity.  Place the primary packaging in warm water before use. 

WHY a polymer dental membrane? 

Unlike collagen, Polymer Dental Membrane offers:

• Excellent Space Creation.

• Long barrier function time – 12–16 weeks. 

• Resilience to exposure – the polymer is not degraded by salivary enzymes.

• No uncomfortable patient conversation about animal or human tissue.

Unlike PTFE, all synthetic polymer membranes resorb completely and do not require a second procedure for removal. 

WHAT SIZES ARE AVAILABLE?

• Small – 15 x 20mm. 

• Medium – 20 x 30mm.

• Large – 30 x 40mm.
