Dense Parasorb Socket Cones are designed for post-extraction placement when no bone defect* is present. Parasorb-dense collagen socket cone stabilises blood clots and prevents the ingrowth of connective tissue.  The dense form promotes wound healing due to rapid revascularisation of the bone crest, and integration into surrounding tissue promotes wound healing. 

INDICATIONS

• Parasorb dense collagen cone is ideal for immediately delayed implant protocols (>4 weeks) when no defect* is present.

• A compressed Parasorb collagen cone is ideal as a short-term bandage over an exposed graft site as a sacrificial material to assist soft tissue coverage.

*In sockets where a defect is present and no implant is scheduled, we recommend the similarly shaped Biphasic Socket Sponge Graft, which contains a slow-turnover bone graft.
