WHY PARASORB?
Parasorb Socket Cones are designed for post-extraction placement when no bone defect* is present. Parasorb socket cones utilise a dense collagen, which stabilises blood clots and prevents the ingrowth of connective tissue.  The dense form promotes rapid revascularisation with complete integration into surrounding tissue. Each cone measures 1.2 cm x 1.6 cm.

INDICATIONS

• • Immediately delayed implant protocols (>4 weeks) when no defect* is present.

  • As a short-term bandage (compressed) over an exposed graft site as a sacrificial material to assist soft tissue coverage.

  *In sockets where a defect is present and no implant is scheduled, we recommend a Biphasic, containing slow-turnover bone graft.

  *In sockets where a defect is present and an implant is scheduled, we recommend Powerbone Dental Putty – a fully resorbable graft requiring no membrane or complex flap manipulation.
