Powerbone Sponge (Synthetic)

Powerbone Sponge graft is shaped to fill an extraction socket and support the bony site.

Micro graft particles are embedded in a flexible synthetic sponge and presented as a socket-shaped cone for easy placement and self-supporting retention.

Requires no special surgical skills or instruments.   Powerbone Sponge Graft contains zero animal or cadaveric tissue, eliminating the need for material consent.

TECHNICAL

  • 50% *silicate substituted βeta-TCP (0.05-0.1mm) porous granules

  • 50% flexible synthetic macroporous matrix of polylactide with caprolactone.

  • Fully resorbing.

  • 16mm x 10mm bullet-shaped self-supporting cone (swells on application).

FEATURES

  • Pre-shaped to match socket morphology.

  • Easily trim to fill multi-root or other defects.

  • Swells on application to enhance retention.

  • Contains no animal or cadaver tissue and is fully resorbable.

  • Fully resorbed in 4 to 6 months with no residue remaining.
