Soft Tissue Harvesting Tool (2)

One pack containing two (identical) single-use harvesting tools.  Simplify harvesting of a uniform palatal soft tissue graft. 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1. Administer local anaesthesia to the donor site on the maxillary palate aspect.

2. Place the tissue scraper against the vertical wall of the maxillary posterior palatal region as shown.

3. Apply gentle pressure and pull the instrument in a posterior-to-anterior direction. This action elevates the palatal epithelium while maintaining a consistent thickness of 1.0–2.0mm.

• Tissue thickness can be adjusted by varying the angle during use – typically 1.5 mm or 2.5 mm.

4. Prepare the epithelial layer or the underlying connective tissue as required. 

5. Secure the soft tissue graft in the recipient area. We recommend PGCL Monofast fully absorbable monofilament sutures and Periacryl Tissue Adhesive for the recipient site and Periacryl or an Ora-Aid self-adhering dressing for donor-site sealing and protection.
