A pack of 5 expanded head threaded screws for fixation and simple tenting in the umbrella technique.

FIXATION: Use expanded head screws to create space, and spread loading forces more evenly when fixing: 

• Autogenous Bone Block/Plate

• Ultra-Thin Titanium Membrane and Foil 

• Autogenous Soft Tissue Graft

• Powerbone Flexible Graft (*1.2 x 3mm code 7097)

• Powerbone Cortical Plate

Fix with our compatible motor driver or hand driver with a Philips-type head.

TENTING: Tenting with conventional small head screws can lead to soft tissue penetration when bone substitute shrinks around the screw.  Our fixation screw answers this with an expanded ‘umbrella or mushroom head’ in a rounded style.  

These screws differ from our specialised two-part Tenting Screw system used for larger cases.  

REMOVAL: Removal of our wide-head screw is easy with compatible motor drivers with Philips-type heads.  Due to the narrow diameter of the screw, any resulting defect will heal spontaneously.
