Five (5) expanded head screws for fixation.  The same screws are ideal for tenting in the umbrella technique.

FIXATION: These screws are half threaded, which is preferable for space creation and does not limit fixation.

Fix with a motor driver or compatible hand driver with a Philips-type head.  Pilot Drills to prepare the osteotomy are also available. 

TENTING: Tenting with conventional small-head screws can lead to soft-tissue penetration as the bone substitute shrinks around the screw.  Our fixation screw answers this with an expanded ‘umbrella or mushroom head’ in a rounded style.  

REMOVAL: Remove each screw with compatible motor drivers or a Philips-type hand driver. Due to the narrow diameter of the shank, any small bone channel will heal spontaneously.
